Year 2 will receive their homework on a Thursday, to be completed by the following Thursday.

Each week they will be given:

• Maths homework - this will either be a task to complete with a grown-up or an online activity carried out on our Active Learn website linked to our learning that week.
• Spelling - this will either be a task to complete with a grown-up or an online activity carried out on the Spelling Shed website linked to our spelling pattern that week or the Common Exception Words we are focusing on.
• Reading - Children are expected to read 5x per week (this doesn’t need to be for long). This should be recorded in reading records, and these will be checked on a Thursday. 

Additional logins are given in homework books and using these websites (such as TTRockstars for times tables) will benefit your child, although these are optional additions.
