Our School

Broughton Primary School is a one form entry primary with about 200 pupils which is situated in the small village of Broughton close to the historic market town of Kettering.

The School is situated on the edge of the village and is surrounded on three sides by fields and open views of the the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside.

Children are welcomed to our school in Year R when they are four years old and stay with us until they reach the age of eleven in Year 6.

Our pupils come from the village of Broughton but also from Kettering, Cransley and outlying areas.

Broughton Primary School has a wide range of facilities at hand to suit all the needs of our pupils and staff. We have a large range of equipment from interactive whiteboards through to a library to encourage learning and provide the best methods of teaching. We also have a large computer suite where the pupils are able to begin learning basic computer and word processing skills moving on to far more challenging units such as coding and website design. The library is situated in the building and holds over 2000 books ranging from educational story books to factual and theory. This helps the students develop their English skills and their love for reading. We have extensive outdoor space for pupils of all ages to play.
