This week our Girls football team competed in the Kettering Area tournament. They did brilliantly in the group stage, scoring 8 goals and conceding 0. This led to a nerve-racking semi-final which finished with a penalty shoot-out. After saving all 3 opposition penalties, we were through to the final which we unfortunately lost to a wonder-goal. This second place finish gets the girls through to the county finals in January. All afternoon, the determination and teamwork on show were exceptional. Well done girls!
