Term 6 2021

Wow! What a busy term in Year One learning about Australia and seaside holidays in the past. We have had loads of fun painting – making Australian boomerangs, jelly fish and money boxes. There was a fascinating visit from a scientist who allowed us to dissect owl pellets. Some enjoyed this more than others…! We have also enjoyed music and using lots of different percussion instruments, and learning to count beats in music too. This helped us a lot to learn our gala dance. In PE, we have been learning about team work, and we have really enjoyed practising for sports day and taking part in the sponsored run.
