My name is Ms Claire Shortt and I am the Headteacher here at Broughton Primary School.

I was appointed as Headteacher in September 2003 and have thus far enjoyed my time enormously at this wonderful caring school.  I am frequently asked, 'What do you enjoy most about the school?'. 

My honest answer has to be, 'The happy children, cheerful staff and the excellent relationships that exist between parents and the school'.
